Let it snow, let it snow

Posted on

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we’ve no place to go, Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
It doesn’t show sign of stopping, so I’ve brought some corn for popping, the lights are turned way down low, Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

It is official people… It December and the Christmas season has begun! Christmas music is fulling the streets and stores, and the deals are falling off the racks. The streets are becoming full of bright lights, and the smell of coca is in the air while the tree is being set up in the living rooms. Presents are being wrapped with ribbons and bows, while cookies bake in the oven. The tree’s light twinkle and snow sprinkles the window sills. Soon you will be getting dressed up to attend christmas parties either at work or with families and friends. Gift shopping through the people filled malls, you wish you were home on the couch, but secretly you enjoy the quick pace and bright spirits in the mall. The amazing feeling you get when you donate to the Santa’s Anonymous or see children sitting on Santa’s lap asking for puppies and bicycles.

Yes people it is that time of year again and I have to tell you I am super excited! I cannot wait to be with my family, watching the classic Christmas movies and sipping hot coca while munching on Christmas treats in my Christmas themed pj’s! Christmas to me is all about my family. I will get to spend Christmas eve with them this year, as well as Christmas day, and boxing day. Snowmen will litter the yard and cheeks will be blushing red when we slid down the hill on the sleds and get snow down our collars.  Christmas Carolers will adorn the streets singing the traditional songs about Santa and his reindeer, the little drummer boy and the three kings searching for little baby Jesus.

MAN I AM PUMPED! I love the gift giving season! I shall be hitting up Kingsway Mall this weekend to finish all my shopping done and over with so I can rest easy knowing I best the rush. I can concentrate on making cookies and adding to decorations in my home.

I have also added to the Christmas spirit by adding falling snow to my blog :]
